Aurora Browne
Browne is familiar to audiences across the country as a co-star for the past four years of the hit sketch show “Comedy Inc”. Other television credits include “The Eleventh Hour”, “Corner Gas”, “The Gavin Crawford Show”, “Robson Arms” and “Comedy Now”. Browne is an alumni of Toronto’s world-famous The Second City, where she co-wrote and performed in four award-winning and nominated mainstage shows - “Family Circus Maximus”, “Psychedelicatessen”, “Insanity Fair” and “The Bush League of Justice”.
Currently Browne appears regularly in several red-hot comedy nights around Toronto’s thriving scene, including Monkey Toast, The Neutrino Video Project, Catch 23 and The Grrrlz Show. Recently Browne was invited to perform at the celebrated Hot Tub Variety Show in New York City. She also won the 2008 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Improviser. In addition to being an actor and writer, Browne is a singer, visual artist, teacher, and most recently, documentary filmmaker. She is a Virgo who enjoys long walks in the country and science fiction.
Aurora was a director in IVP #1 with her short “Do Androids Dream of Harrison Ford?”.
